The Marmottan Monet Museum displays from February 13^th to July 16^th an exhibition named Impressionists in privacy, compound of about a hundred of their works, coming from private collections.

Where to be touched by Berthe Morizot’s tenderness, by Mary Cassat’s beams of sun, and by the warm look Renoir had towards his beloved ? Here in Marmottan, located beside the Ranelagh Gardens, so called in memory of Lord Ranelagh, an irish aristocrat, whose londonian Mansion House inspired this park to Alphand in 1860.
The exhibition’s process is to  show, step after step what led the artist to this specific stream of art.
So naturally we can admire the masters, Corot and his silvered landscapes, Boudin and his windy beaches…before seing the colourfull explosion, the effrontery and the joie de vivre of these young-  ters, and the heydays of impressionism ; then finally we do understand how the own talent of these artists whas to overwealm the stream to which they first belonged.
